THE WOMAN BEHIND CANVAS MICROBLADING

Hi! my name is Jen, I have lived in the Brainerd Lakes Area all my life. I am married with three children, ages 17, 15 and 6. I have always had a passion for the beauty industry. I completed my manicurist license in 2009 and then my estheticians license in 2013. Along the way I learned lash extensions and had extensive trainings in skin care. I've had a fascination with permanent make-up, and microblading has always been in the back of my mind.
After losing my job due to the pandemic in 2020, I was feeling very lost on what to do. An amazing opportunity came up to begin schooling and start my apprenticeship at MN Brow and Lash Academy in St. Louis Park MN.  My journey began September of 2020 and I haven't looked back! In March 2022 I took a Tattoo Course and in October of 2022 I began working with a mentor who I still work with today!  I take my work very seriously, and really enjoy the tediousness and attention to detail that comes with permanent make-up and tattooing!

When I'm not tattooing you can usually find me at Mid-Town Nutrition getting a protein shake! or hitting up the trails in Cuyuna, I LOVE mountain biking :)
